Another Way to Wear Your Shirt

Learn how to create a t-shirt quilt without stabilizing it. You’ll create your own individual quilt map based on the number of t-shirts you have. Then it’s cutting and sewing them together. These memory t-shirt quilts are soft, cuddly and unique.

The Crazy Way to Make a Block

Create your own crazy quilt block learning hand embroidery stitches. Your block can be the start of a crazy quilt or turned into a pillow or bag.

In Person – 1 day class
Virtually – 2 – 3 hour classes

Class fee is $30 per person which includes handouts.

There is an option to purchase a kit for $20 which includes embroidery needle, threads, stabilizing fabric, block fabric.

Hanging up some Craziness

Make a crazy quilt stocking while learning the history of crazy quilting and learn 16 free-hand embroidery stitches you will use to embellish your stocking. Your stocking will be unique depending on the fabric, colors, and threads you choose.

This class is only taught virtually. This is a 5 week class that meets once a week for 2 hours at a time. During each class, students learn stitches and crazy quilting techniques and apply them during class to their crazy quilt block. Between classes they will use their knowledge to apply it to the stocking project.

Virtual – 5 – 2 hour classes

Class fee is $60 per person which includes eBooklet of stitches and stocking pattern.

There is an option to purchase a kit for $40 which includes embroidery and beading needles, threads, beads, beading mat, stabilizing fabric, crazy quilt block fabric, and practice fabric. This kit does not include fabric or threads for the stocking project.

Flower Pounding Class

Learn the steps to flower pounding on fabric and finishing your piece. You can embellish your flowers with machine stitches, hand stitches, and beads.

Sashiko – Easy Elegance

Learn the art of this elegant Japanese embroidery style. This is an easy stitch to learn but there are some tips to make it look uniform. It’s relaxing and fun to do.

Another Cuppa with your Tea Bag

Create wonderful pieces of art with a used tea bag as the base. Each tea bag gets embroidered with a unique design and then put them together creating a larger composition. All levels will enjoy this class.

In Person – Half day class
Virtually – 3 hour class

Class fee is $25 per person which includes handouts and 3 tea bags (which will be mailed to you)

There is an optional kit available for $15 which includes fabric, batting, threads, and tea bags.

Zone Out with Zen Embroidery

Zentangle is easy to learn and relaxing way to create beautiful designs by drawing patterns. Each student will embrace their individual style learning tangles resulting in unique pieces of art. We will take those unique art pieces and stitch them with various embroidery stitches. It’s a fun way to design your own embroidery.

This is a beginner class. The student will learn 5 different tangle patterns and design their own art piece on a 6″ square paper tile. Then we will turn the paper tile into a Zen-embroidery design. The tangle patterns might be the same but each design will be as unique as the student.

Virtually – 3 hour class

Class fee is $20 per person which includes a handout.

There is an optional kit for $30 which includes 6″ square paper tile, pigma black pen, embroidery needle, black perle cotton thread, white cotton fabric and handout.
